Indiana Master Naturalist Program begins

Beginning on February 20th, the Cope Environmental Center and the Purdue Cooperative Extension Service will offer the Indiana Master Naturalist Program. The program provides indoor and outdoor experiences to learn about Indiana's soil, geology, birds, forests, wildlfowers and more. Participants who attend at least seven of the eight classes and complete 24 hours of volunteer service will be certified and receive an Indiana Master Naturalist pin. Classes will be from 6-9 p.m. Tuesdays beginning Feb. 20 at the Cope Center education building. Registrations are being accepted and space is limited. Registration is $80 and due Jan. 30, 2007.
