Linking the Central Business District of Richmond

You are cordially invited to an open house presentation by Ball State landscape architecture students on Monday, March 17th at 1:30 p.m. at the Reid Presbyterian Church at the corner of North A and North 11. The students developed several projects that link the central business district with the following areas:

Gorge/Logo Building
Veterans Memorial Park
Depot District
Wayne County Museum
Uptown
US 40 Corridor
Earlham

The student plans will provide inspiration and outside perspective for these areas, which is timely, especially as we update our zoning code and parks master plan. Ball State’s Landscape Architecture Department is nationally noted for its programming and student projects. The 43 students will present their conceptual ideas in the basement of the church starting at 1:30 until 4:00. You are invited to come and go as your time allows. The ideas presented are innovative and in many cases attainable.
