How adults can help girls be who they are, not what they're sold

Girls Inc. of Wayne County sponsors a free public talk as part of its "Got Girls? Giving Back" series. Mother, author and educator Lyn Mikel Brown titled "How adults can help girls be who they are, not what they are sold." The talk is open to the public, and recommended for parents, teachers, mentors, older girls (middle school & up) and adults working with girls.
This free event is held on Weds. April 9 at 7pm in the Loose Lecture Hall of the Landrum Bolling Center on Earlham College in Richmond, IN. A reception with book signing follows.
