Eating locally is as good for our ecosystems as it is for our bodies! If you'd like to practice eating locally and hang out with groovy folks, come to a 100 mile radius potluck on Wednesday, September 10 at 6:30pm at Clear Creek Park (on W Main next to the municipal pool.

The goal of a 100 mile radius potluck is to only bring food that was grown within and processed within 100 miles of Richmond.

If you need some shopping ideas, check out this local food guide containing dozens of farms within 30 miles of Richmond. If you want to use something that just isn't grown around here, try to at least buy it locally - the Clear Creek Co-op is a great local grocery.
Clear Creek Park doesn't have many seating options, so you may want to bring a blanket or lawn chair. Please bring your own dishes, as well. Chairs and dishes need not have been made in the 100 mile radius. Bring friends, too! The potluck is sponsored by Progressive Wayne County. Contact Anna Lisa Gross (914.2973 or annalisa144@gmail.com) with questions or suggestions.
