As part of Earlham College's partnership agreement with Recycle Force they have organized a Computer Recycling Event: Saturday, February 24th 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Carpenter Hall Parking Lot

They will accept desktop computers, laptops, monitors, printers, keyboards, computer peripherals, televisions, microwaves, and cell phones. There will be a $10.00 fee per vehicle to help support the event. They strongly encourage you to carpool with friends and family to save money and help reduce emissions.

Recycle Force, LLC is an Indianapolis based back-to-work program for ex-offenders that is dedicated to "Rebuilding Lives while Recycling Computers." More information on Recycle Force, including a great video about the program, can be found at: http://www.recycleindy.com/about.html

Supporting Earlham's wellness model of "Mind, Body, Spirit and Community," exhibitors from Richmond and Wayne County businesses offer services, including screenings for osteoporosis, blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol. Experts provide information in health and wellness including dietetics, dentistry, chiropractic care, alternative therapies and podiatry; as well as relaxing chair massages. Participants can register for door prizes; massages, reflexology sessions, T-shirts, climbing wall passes, and day passes to the Athletics and Wellness Center.

Goddard Auditorium, Carpenter Hall Four time Grammy nominee Kidjo is not only one of the spunkiest, most electrifying performers in the pop world today, but she is also one of its most forward and creative thinkers, an artist whose mission has been to explore the relationships of diverse musical cultures. While her music is steeped in tribal and pop rhythms of her West African heritage, the Benin-born, Brooklyn-based Kidjo has crossed musical boundaries by blending a variety of styles, including funk, salsa, jazz, rumba, soul and makossa. The Conflict Resolution Center reeived a grant to offer two trainings - Family Group Conferencing and Family Group Decision Making. CRC would recommend the first of these for those interested in learning whether or how to incorporate Conferencing Circles. This training is offered at no cost (donations accepted). The trainings are as follows:

March 19-20 Family Group Conferencing - 8:30-4:30 p.m.
Registration begins at 8 a.m., lunch is provided.

March 21-22 Family Group Decision Making - 8:30-4:30 p.m.

The Richmond Art Museum presents the First Annual Phantoscope High School Film Festival. Young filmmakers from East Central Indiana and West Central Ohio will screen their films. One talented filmmaker will win the $500 cash prize.
