The Wayne County Learning Corporation needs you! Please attend a special meeting regarding learning issues in our community. The WCLC is an organization made up of citizens from around the county with one mission: to keep lifelong learning and education at the top of everyone's agenda.

At the meeting you will hear where the county currently stands, what is being done to improve and expand learning opportunities and most importantly, how we can move forward together.

The meeting is at Fountain City Wesleyan Church at 5600 US-27 North in Richmond on May 22, 2007 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM.

Richmond Art Museum presents "Taste of Cherry" (1998, Directed by Abbas Kiarostami).

Winner of the Palme d’Or prize at the Cannes Film Festival the year it was released, Taste of Cherry follows middle-aged Mr. Badii through the streets of Tehran as he seeks someone to assist him with his plan to end his own life. The people he encounters challenge his thinking in a variety of ways, but will they actually change his mind? This Iranian film was made by a man many consider to be one of the greatest living filmmakers.

Workshop #4: Left-Brained Stuff for Right-Brained People

Facilitators: Emily Webb, Ramsey Rodefeld Kassens & North LLP; and Thomas Kirk, Earlham College

Tax preparation for the artist, model releases, and all that technical stuff may seem daunting, but it really isn’t rocket science! Learn the basics that you need to steer clear of trouble and maximize the returns for your art and career.
