Sheldon Clark will be speaking about his experience in jail ministry. Sheldon is an Earlham School of Religion grad, a former head of a Quaker boarding school and as pastor at New Castle Friends, started a jail ministry. Join us for Peace Forum, every Thursday (when class is in session) at noon in the Earlham School of Religion Dining Room. Free, tasty lunch and delicious conversation are always provided. On Thursday, May 15 2008 from 6 to 8 PM, the City of Richmond will host an open house for learning more about the status of the Comprehensive Plan process. From 6 to 7 PM, visitors will be able to browse booths set up by each subcommittee of the comprehensive plan implementation committee, to learn about what's been done and what's still left to do. From 7 PM onward, visitors will have a chance to talk to and ask questions of the leadership involved in the plan implementation. The event will be held on the 3rd floor of the Richmond City Building, in the lobby outside of Council chambers. For more information, contact the City of Richmond. | ||
