Cyber Camp 2008 Start: 8:00 am End: 12:00 pm Cyber Camp is an opportunity for students in grades 3rd-6th to learn about technology and computers at work in our community. These free, hands-on camps have been created with fun in mind. The program is based on three (3)-two week sessions that include time in the computer lab, field trips, and guest speakers. The sessions are Monday-Friday from 8-10 or 10-12, depending on the student's age. This sessin features Techno Fit and Techno CEO classes. The Ethics of Place: Being Fully Where You Are, in College and Beyond Start: 7:00 pm End: 8:30 pm This talk by Scott Hess, Assistant Professor of English at Earlham College, is on the ethical importance of sense of place (both social and environmental) in the context of globalization, and on how the liberal arts college experience educates students (or fails to educate them) for awareness of place. The convocation will be held at Tuesday June 24th at 7 PM in Goddard Auditorium, on the campus of Earlham College in Richmond.
