"Images of Native Americans: The Wanamaker Collection at Indiana University" is a traveling exhibition of 30 high-quality digital images made from original photographs of Native Americans taken between 1908 and 2003. This important and moving educational exhibition will be on display at the Richmond Art Museum August 5 - September 2, 2008.

The Richmond Art Museum is located at 350 Hub Etchison Parkway in Richmond, Indiana. Call (765) 966-0256 or go to www.richmondartmuseum.org for more information. Museum hours are Tuesday - Friday 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., and Sunday 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.

The Wayne County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) is conducting their Fall 2008 Fundraiser of container grown trees and shrubs through Friday, September 26, 2008. The sale encourages the promotion of sound conservation practices and helps to fund the many educational and outreach programs that the SWCD provides to the public throughout the year. A variety of native trees and shrubs including varieties known for their beautiful flowers and brilliant fall colors are available in 1, 3, 5, and 15 gallon Root Force grown containers.
