SUMMARY:Wayne County SWCD Fall Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:<p>The Wayne County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) is conducting their Fall 2008 Fundraiser of container grown trees and shrubs through Friday\, September 26\, 2008.  The sale encourages the promotion of sound conservation practices and helps to fund the many educational and outreach programs that the SWCD provides to the public throughout the year.  A variety of native trees and shrubs including varieties known for their beautiful flowers and brilliant fall colors are available in 1\, 3\, 5\, and 15 gallon Root Force grown containers.</p>

DESCRIPTION:<p>An exhibition of works by Bloomington\, Indiana\, artist GK Rowe and Cincinnati\, Ohio\, artist Rhonda Gushee at the Richmond Art Museum. The opening reception and gallery talk will be held on Sunday\, August 24 from 2\:00 - 4\:00 p.m.</p>
 <p>GK Rowe is a contemporary abstract painter whose work is continuously evolving based on his life experiences. Rhonda Gushee creates figurative sculptures inspired by myths and folk tales\, animals\, family\, and friends.  </p>

SUMMARY:Master Naturalist Classes Begin
DESCRIPTION:<p>The Indiana Master Naturalist classes are a beginner's program of nature discovery and service learning for adults.  It is being hosted by the Cope Environmental Center on Wednesdays from September 3rd through November 5th\, 6-9 PM.  The cost is $150 per person\, and registration is limited.</p>
 <p>The Master Naturalist Program is designed to provide hands on opportunities to learn about Indiana’s natural resources for beginning naturalists or those who are looking for a refresher course.  It also provides a way for you to share that knowledge through volunteer service.</p>
