Welcome to the Progressive Wayne County forums. Please take a moment to introduce yourself and tell us why you're here and what you're interested in. If you have a general topic you want to discuss, head on over to the General Discussion area. If you've got a project you're working on (or want our help to start up), post it in the Project Ideas area. Note that you must have an account on the site to post, but it just takes a few seconds to set up and all you need is an e-mail address.
Thanks for visiting!

Introducing myself and saying hi
My name is Lynn Loring and I own "No Creature Left Behind". We take care of animals/homes when the owners are away for various reasons. We also do "pony parties".
I'm interested in being involved with and in the community. I desire to network and work with people/organizations in this community.
I desire to involve my children in the wider interests/events that aren't generally known.
I desire to help those that are working in a positive manner to get the word out helping others to become involved.
I look forward to connecting to the positive influences that are already happening and being a part of creating/promoting and helping to get other projects/events started.
I desire to make new friends/associations with intelligent, empathic and determined people.
I desire to be a part of any effort or initiative that supports our community and the people in it to live in manner consistent with small town ethics.
I desire to see our community to become self-sustaining in many ways.
I also would like to see our community care for our animals in a much better manner by instilling not only a conscience towards the treatment of animals but actual laws and the enforcement of those laws. The animals in our area are not protected against abuse and neglect as they should be.
I love to learn and to share.
I have seven children, ages 6, 9, 14, 16, 19, 21, 24. My oldest is in Iraq. I personally don't and never have supported our presence in Iraq but I do support those that find themselves there for various reasons.
I'll be looking forward to meeting many new people and families. I feel that those that are working to make our community and our world a better place are hidden gems and would like to help change that. There is a growing element of intelligent and caring people in our community and we need to connect.
