Search for Peace in the Middle East

posted under

Former Earlham College president Landrum Bolling has produce a film entitled Search for Peace in the Middle East, a "vivid, compassionate portrayal of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Through the voices of Israeli and Palestinian citizens of diverse backgrounds, it reveals their hopes and fears and explores the issues that divide them." You can watch the full video at the link above. The Pal-Item reported on this issue last week:

The film interviews people on both sides of the conflict which, according to Bolling, would allow the audience to see "ordinary, involved people who think something can be done." Around 5,000 copies of the film have been distributed since its June release date and, according to Bolling, another 4,000 more will be made. Bolling, the director at large for MercyCorps in Washington , D.C., said the DVD remains free to anyone who wants it.
