PWC site re-launched with new look, simplified focus

The ProgressiveWayneCounty.org website was founded in 2006 to highlight all of the amazing, important projects and accomplishments being taken on by members of the Richmond and Wayne County, Indiana community.
The original version of the site had a variety of interactive features including forums, user blogs, aggregated news from around the area, live chat, and personal profiles. We found that while these items were useful to some, they most often distracted from the core purpose of the site, and made it more time consuming to keep current.
In August 2010, the site was simplified into a focused blog, and most of those other features were removed. We’ve preserved some of the original content, but expired items or stories linking to resources no longer available have been removed.
What will you find here now? A new look, but with largely the same kind of content: brief blog-style postings highlighting news and events in Richmond and Wayne County, Indiana, with a focus on the positive and progressive. Lots of links to external resources and other content creators, with occasional original material.
We hope you enjoy the new PWC. If you have feedback, post a comment below, or e-mail editor@progressivewaynecounty.org.
