WCTV's third annual "Community Benefits" live television auction is happening this Friday, November 2nd beginning at 6 p.m. on WCTV. We have a wide variety of items to auction, including sports tickets and memorabilia, autographed books, restaurant certificates, gift baskets, and more.
Again they are partnering with the IU East SIFE group (Students in Free Enterprise), and would also like to thank Warm Glow Candle Outlet of Centerville and G101.3/WKBV, who have joined us as hourly sponsors, as well as Joe’s Pizza, which will be providing food that evening.

Richmond Art Works Tree Show Opening Benefit

The Richmond Art Works Tree Show to benefit the Cope Environmental Center runs from April 1 through 30, 2007. On Thursday, April 5 2007 from 5 to 7 PM, the opening reception and benefit auction will happen. For more information, visit the Richmond Art Works site.
4th Annual Achieva Resources Disability Awareness 5k Run/Walk

Presented by Achieva Resources, formerly Green Acres & Landmark services, Saturday, March 31, 2007 @ Glen Miller Park. We will be hosting our 4th annual Disability Awareness 5k run/walk. Registration begins @ 10:15 and the activity will start @ 11:00 am. Prices for this event are; Adults $12, Kids 13 and under $10, and Achieva Consumers $ 5, price includes goody bag and t-shirt. Swingsation Benefit Concert

Earlham College is sponsoring the Swingsation Benefit Concert tonight, a fund-raiser for the local United Way.
A jazz ensemble will provide the music for the 8 p.m. concert in the school's Runyon Center. The show will be preceded by a one-hour swing dance instruction program at 7 p.m.
Tickets, which are $5 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens, are available in the Fine Arts Office.
Rotary Quiz Bowl

The 11th annual Rotary Quiz Bowl is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday at Indiana University East's Vivian Auditorium, 2325 Chester Blvd., Richmond.
Funds raised from the event are donated to literacy projects. Three-member teams pay $100 to compete. They will answer questions about history, sports, music, and other subjects.

Genesis Benefit Concert

From WayNet.org: "The Earlham College Women’s Chorus’ annual Genesis Benefit Concert not only celebrates women, but also helps support the local YWCA’s abused women’s shelter. A tradition for over a decade, the evening is full of energy, excitement and fun with featured performances by students, faculty, and community members in a variety concert, including singing, dancing, juggling, and much more."
