Computer Recycling Event

Earlham College is once again hosting a computer recycling event, Saturday October 25 2008 form 9 AM to 3 PM in the Carpenter Hall Parking Lot. Bring desktop computers, laptops, monitors, printers, keyboards, peripherals, cables, cell phones, copiers, and microwaves. TVs will be collected for an additional fee.  continue reading »

Recycle computers to help rebuild lives

As part of Earlham College's partnership agreement with Recycle Force they have organized a Computer Recycling Event: Saturday, February 24th 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Carpenter Hall Parking Lot

They will accept desktop computers, laptops, monitors, printers, keyboards, computer peripherals, televisions, microwaves, and cell phones. There will be a $10.00 fee per vehicle to help support the event. They strongly encourage you to carpool with friends and family to save money and help reduce emissions.

Recycle Force, LLC is an Indianapolis based back-to-work program for ex-offenders that is dedicated to "Rebuilding Lives while Recycling Computers." More information on Recycle Force, including a great video about the program, can be found at: http://www.recycleindy.com/about.html
