The Pal-Item reports today that "Sam Hogenauer, a volunteer for HELP the Animals, walked 15 miles with eight shelter dogs Friday to raise funds for the no-kill shelter. He started collecting pledges last month for his walk to donate to HELP, a shelter that collects no state or federal funding and depends solely on the public and grants from private institutions such as the Wayne County Foundation. Pledges received to date for the walk exceed $4,000." Congratulations to Sam! You can read the full article.
