The Purdue Master Gardeners of Wayne County are hosting a workshop titled "Preparing Your Landscape for Winter's Rest" on Saturday, October 17th from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm at the Kuhlman Center at the Wayne County Fairgrounds. The workshop is open to anyone and will help homeowners prepare their landscape for the upcoming winter season. Sessions topics include planning for full season color, winterizing your landscape, planning for spring bulbs and winter sowing, winterizing your lawn and garden equipment and creating a fabulous fall centerpiece. The workshop is $15 for those preregistered by October 9th and $20 at the door. Purdue Master Gardeners at the Wayne County Fair

Join the Purdue Master Gardeners of Wayne County at the Wayne County Fair beginning June 20th through the 26th. Master Gardeners will be on hand to offer lawn and garden advice; there will be free gardening information as well as plants and CobraHead garden tools for sale. The Master Gardeners will also host two featured presentations. On Monday, June 22nd at 6:30 pm Preserving Your Garden Goods will be given and on Wednesday, June 24th at 6:30 pm Organic Gardening will be given. The Master Gardener exhibit is east of the Swine Barn next to the FFA exhibit. Hours are Saturday 2 – 9 pm, Sunday 1:30 – 9 pm and Monday – Friday 5-9 pm. Call 765-935-3464 for more information.
