Are you confused about what's happening in Iraq? Are you tired of reading body counts? Do you really understand the difference between Sunni and Shia? Do you feel overwhelmed by the threat of war with Iran? Do you want to know how to respond to this incredible sorrow?

Cliff Kindy has spent much of the past five years in Iraq with Christian Peacemaker Teams and will share stories and respond to your questions on Thursday evening, May 22 at 7pm. Please join us in the Newlin Center/Virgina Cottage, next door to Bethany Seminary. Contact Anna Lisa Gross for more information: grossan@earlham.edu or 914.2973.

Richmond Art Museum presents "Taste of Cherry" (1998, Directed by Abbas Kiarostami).

Winner of the Palme d’Or prize at the Cannes Film Festival the year it was released, Taste of Cherry follows middle-aged Mr. Badii through the streets of Tehran as he seeks someone to assist him with his plan to end his own life. The people he encounters challenge his thinking in a variety of ways, but will they actually change his mind? This Iranian film was made by a man many consider to be one of the greatest living filmmakers.

Richmond Art Museum, 350 Hub Etchison Parkway, Richmond, Indiana. (765) 966-0256. Admission: $3 RAM members & students / $5 general public.
