Adapted from the popular novel, Elijah Wood stars as a young writer who travels to Europe in search of his grandfather’s past. Accompanied by the old man’s deranged dog, they travel from Odessa into the heart of the Ukraine to unravel a family secret.

Winner of the Palme d’Or prize at the Cannes Film Festival the year it was released, Taste of Cherry follows middle-aged Mr. Badii through the streets of Tehran as he seeks someone to assist him with his plan to end his own life.
