Monthly meeting for all interested persons to help promote diversity in
Wayne County and work through diversity related issues. Please come; all
are welcome.

The Diversity Council's mission is:

Mysticism and Activism Retreat

"Changing the World/Changing Ourselves: Looking at Mysticism and Activism” is the title of a retreat which will take place Friday, September 29 from 6 to 9 PM and Saturday, September 30 from 9:30 AM until 4 PM at Virginia Cottage. Participants will explore the range of forms that mysticism can take, sharing personal experiences, through presentations, journaling, discussions and worship sharing. After becoming familiar with mystical approaches to spirituality, the group will apply mystical approaches to concrete social issues with particular attention to war and peace issues and to crime and punishment.  continue reading »
